Fu Niang Fang uses a traditional brewing method. The ingredients undergo a complete fermentation process, including saccharification, alcohol fermentation, and acetic acid fermentation by selected microbial cultures. Compared with commonly available infused vinegars or blended vinegars, this naturally fermented vinegar has a finer molecular structure and is easier for the body to absorb.

The founders, a husband-and-wife team who graduated from the Department of Food Science at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, began their journey after their eight-month-old son was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease.
